JR. Squad Leader
Jessica Igollo-Ogele is an incoming freshman at UNC Chapel Hill. She is a Squad Leader for Bloom Upstate and loves working with kids. She is a Nigerian American who is passionate about her community and young women of color. She’s an advocate for crocs & pineapple on pizza. Jessica plans to pursue a career in Medicine and become a black doctor which makes up only 5% of doctors in the US. She dabbles in poetry in her free time and loves writing on her blog—spreading awareness about social movements and injustices. Jessica believes that women of color are strong, worthy, and deserve to be supported. This belief motivates her in all that she does.
