BloomUpstate’s mission is to support and mentor at-risk girls in Spartanburg who are without an active father. We make this mission tangible through the following four programs.
This program is designed to intentionally match youth with a caring and involved same sex mentor based on their specific needs. Allowing children to see beyond their single parent circumstances can positively affect their well-being. Learn more.
We offer two forms of groups that help give young girls the opportunity to express and resolve issues that have resonated from their fatherlessness. It also allows them to create bonded relationships with their peers in a safe and fun environment. Learn more.
We provide enrichment classes, workshops, counseling services and encouragement to single mothers looking to create a better life for their children. We will also act as a bridge to health and human service agencies, by providing the essential resources to encourage growth for the whole family. Learn more.
