Dr. Thea Henderson Dirton has lived in the Spartanburg/Greenville area for over 15 years. Although she is not originally from the area, since she decided to make the Upstate her home she has worked in the school system and various community organizations to help strengthen communities, develop leaders, and provide opportunities for children. She currently serves on the board of two local organizations, which provide opportunities for children to grow regardless of their socioeconomic status. She is a doctorate holder and a recently published author that is looking forward to growing with the organization.
